Mumbai: On the last day of campaigning for Assembly elections of Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had attacked on ‘dynastic politics’ in state. PM Modi had asked voters of Maharashtra to “banish” the two parties Congress and NCP from the state on 15 October Assembly polls.
PM Modi said, “Their leaders have made it a feudal set up. The father comes to power and asks his children to take care of a few districts. If the fate of Konkan and Sindhudurg has to change, then ensure that the BJP government comes to power.”
While winding up his campaign in the state with a rally at Kankavli in Konkan region, PM Modi urge voters to flush out these two parties from state.
Notify that Narayan Rane, a former Chief Minister, is contesting from Kudal, while his son Nitesh is Congress candidate for Kankavli.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar, a former Deputy Chief Minister, is a prime contender for chief ministership if the party is voted to power.
Modi had accused Congress and NCP of being “steeped” in corruption. He asked the voters to “banish” the two parties from the state.
He said, “Will you wipe out thieves and robbers in this election? Maharashtra should be freed from the clutches of dynastic rule.”
