Sri Nagar: Thousands of kilometres separate the purported caliphate run by the Islamic State and India but security agencies have an ever growing reason to worry. The Islamic State is spreading its wing in Syria-Iraq through a merciless onslaught on those who don’t believe in their idea of Islam.
There have been security concerns in Kashmir after masked men carried ISIS flags after Eid celebrations last week. Security agencies are still searching for those involved in the controversial rally at the Idgah Maidan.
The men were seen publicly brandishing the flag of the terror outfit. This is the second such ISIS related incident in the state. Security agencies have not issued a comment, but reports say the Intelligence Bureau has held a high level meeting in Delhi to discuss the issue.
