Kolkata: The Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee had attacked on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked about the expenses of foreign trip of Modi on Monday.
She had called the Centre government as anti-people.
Mamata, while addressing a rally in Kolkata, accused the government of using Central Bureau of Investigation against her party which is under fire over the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.
A day after party MP Derek O’Brien questioned BJP the source of its party funds, Mamata criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign trips.
She asked, “Where is the Centre getting so much money for foreign trips? How are they financing the pompous shows at America?”
She said, “Ever since this government came to power, riots are happening everywhere- UP, Maharashtra and even Delhi. Centre does not care for people. We will take people from Bengal to Delhi to protest against Centre’s anti-people policies.”
