New Delhi: The Member of Parliaments of Trinamool Congress had protest outside the Parliament on Tuesday. TMC MPs held a protest holding black umbrellas outside Parliament. Notify that Narendra Modi government is all set to be cornered in Parliament as opposition parties have joined hands to take on the government on the issue of black money.
The TMC and Samajwadi Party had given a notice for suspension of question hour in Lok Sabha on the issue of black money. The TMC and JDU have also given notices on the issue.
Centre was hoping of a fruitful session had become witnessed of protests on the first working day of the winter session.
The Samajwadi Party and Trinamool Congresss had planned to target the government on black money issue.
Sukhendu Sekhar, TMC leader said that the government must give an answer.
HE said, “The Modi government promised to bring back black money in 100 days. Almost 200 days are over, they must give an answer.”
Saugata Roy another TMC MP said, “Modi promised that black money will be brought back and every citizen will get Rs 15 lakh, where is that money? It’s been six months, we have waited long enough. We want that issue to be taken up immediately.”
It had been planned by Opposition parties to disrupt both Houses over a decision to take up the zero hour before question hour.
