UPA chief Sonia Gandhi and SP supremo Mulayam Singh didn’t adopt any village in Sansad Adarsh Gram YojnaNew Delhi: Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi, vice president of Congress Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav did not adopt a village under Prime Minister’s Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna (PMAGY).

Similarly, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi may have received accolades for visiting to a Dalit home in past, but he is also averse to the most praised project of Prime Minister.

Many of the parliamentarians of Uttar Pradesh didn’t adopt village even when Tuesday was the last date for adopting a village under the PMAGY.

Meanwhile Mulayam’s daughter in law Dimple Yadav and nephew Tej Pratap Yadav adopted the village under the programme.

Mulayam Singh is MP from Azamgarh, Rahul Gandhi is MP from Amethi while Sonia Gandhi is from Rae Bareli.
