Patna: Two passenger trains had a minor collision in Bihar early Friday morning. As per Arunendra Kumar of the Railway Board, two express trains – a passenger express train and Northeast Express – had a side collision. No injuries have been reported in the incident. The incident took place in Badh at 6:55 am, 40 kilometres from state capital Patna.
Today at 6.55 am, 40 kilometers from Patna at Badh railway station a demo train had a side collision with the North-east Express. In this six coaches of the demo train were derailed; there is no news so far of anyone getting injured. The officers have left to reach the accident venue and services will resume shortly,” Kumar said. When asked about the cause of collision he said, “The cause of this accident is yet to be ascertained, it looks like someone might have overlooked the signal.
