Ten people have been shot dead at the #headquarters of the #French satirical #magazine #CharlieHebdo in #Paris, #prosecutors confirm.

#Paris & #UK | Witnesses say a number of masked #gunmen were involved in the attack on the offices of the #publication, which has sparked controversy previously over its portrayal of the #Prophet Mohammed.

#Ambulances are at the scene.

Benoit Bringer, a journalist with Agence Premiere Ligne who saw the attack, told the iTele network he saw several masked men armed with machine guns.
