Hyderabad: Car of social activist Sunitha Krishnan of Prajwala Home had been attacked minutes after she had launch ‘ShameTheRapist’ campaign through an English TV channel in Hussaunialam on Friday.
When her car had been attacked by unknown, the car was parked outside the ‘Home’-cum-office. She lodged a complaint over phone with the Charminar ACP Ashok Chakravarthy.
The ACP said that Hussainialam Additional Inspector Kiran, went to the spot and collected details.
Earlier, Ms. Krishnan posted on YouTube the video of five men smiling while raping two women. She stated that she received the two video clips, which were being circulated through WhatsApp, through a friend.
She cut short the videos protecting identity of the two victims and posted pics of the five rapists and posted it on YouTube which went viral.
Her car was attacked minutes after she launched the ‘ShameTheRapist’ campaign through the TV news channel by posting pictures of the five rapists who were seen smiling and posing while sexually assaulting the women.
On social networking site Facebook, she posted, “….happy I am on right track. If goons think they can intimidate me this way – take a long walk boss, I will report come what may I will track I will shame and I will report.”
