Mumbai: Eight people were killed and several others injured after a cooking gas cylinder exploded at a hotel in central Mumbai.
The blast happened at the Hotel City Kinara at Kurla West.
A fire that broke out after the explosion has been brought under control.
Police sources said most of those killed were staff members.
