Professionals should handle sports bodies, not politicians: says Delhi CM Arvind KejriwalNew Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday voiced his opinion saying that all sporting bodies should be handled by professionals and not politicians.

Delhi CM Mr  #ArvindKejriwal shared his views through his official account on micro-blogging site Twitter.

There shud be no politician in any sports body. Let sports be handled by professionals.

CM #ArvindKejriwal, along with other leaders of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have accused Finance Minister Mr  Arun Jaitley of alleged irregularities and financial bunglings in Delhi’s cricket body, Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), of which he was the president for about 13 years till 2013.

Reacting to these charges, FM #ArunJaitley has also filed a criminal defamation complaint before a trial court against #AAP Ledear and Delhi CM #ArvindKejriwal and the five other AAP leaders for making false allegations.
Delhi CM ArvindKejriwal on Tuesday accused PM Mr  Narendra Modi of “unleashing the CBI” on the AAP government in a bid to “protect” #ArunJaitley, who is at the centre of the DDCA row.

Earlier, the BJP categorically rejected all allegations of corruption made by AAP against finance Minister #Arunjaitley  during his tenure as the #DDCA chief.

In a strong show of support for Arun  Jaitley and #NarendraModi also said at the BJP parliamentary party meet that he will come through “with flying colours” against charges of corruption levelled against him by the Opposition in a same way Senior BJP leader Mr LK   Advani ji did in the Hawala case.

Meanwhile, DDCA has also rejected the allegations of irregularities against finance minister Arun Jaitley and said that such charges were absolutely rubbish.

“Some allegations have been raised against the DDCA and it needs clarification as everyone is stating their point. First thing is allegation of irregularities on stadium construction. Stadium is made of Rs. 141 crores,” DDCA working president & Former Cricketer Mr Chetan Chauhan told the press conference.
