#ITANAGAR : Union Minister of State for Home, Mr Kiren Rijiju today assured the administration of Arunachal Pradesh, now under President’s Rule, smooth fund flows from the Centre but with a caution that all funds for development should be utilised judiciously.
On learning that Raga constituency had not received any fund under State Infrastructure Development Fund, the Minister said the state government had to ensure uniform distribution of funds to all constituencies.
He asked Raga MLA Tamar Murtem to prepare estimates for infrastructural development for Raga.
Addressing a function on the occasion of Boori Boot Yullo festival at Raga in Lower Subansiri district, he assured the people that road connectivity would be provide to all the villages of the constituency by 2019.
For better protection of people from the region in the national capital, he said Delhi Police would recruit more people from Arunachal Pradesh and other North East states.
Advocating preservation of tribal culture and tradition,Kiran Rijiju said, “Our culture is our identity and we should actively preserve it in all possible manner. Our students studying outside Arunachal and abroad have a special responsibility to practice and preserve our traditions and culture. Let us be modern in our thoughts, but still be rooted to our traditions.”
