#Mumbai : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s love story started on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. They dated for about two years, but then things took an ugly turn and their relationship ended on a bitter note. Their break-up was once one of the most debated topics in the tinsel town. This is why they always stayed away from each other.
But, at a recent press meet at producer Vashu Bhagnani’s office, the Jazbaa actor was asked about her plans of working with Salman in future. According to a report in Spotboye.com, Aishwarya got furious and stopped the interview midway. She even made it a point that the footage of the interaction be deleted.
The report further stated that Jackky Bhagnani tried to play the peacemaker but Aishwarya was so angry that she even asked other journalists to leave instead of just being spectators. But this reaction by the Sarbjit actor was quite surprising as last month she lent her support to Salman’s appointment as goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent at Rio Olympics.
When asked about the goodwill ambassador controversy around Salman, she had said, “Anybody who is doing good to represent the country and anybody who is working or seeking or standing out for whatever vocation we have in the country be it sports, arts or music, I think that’s wonderful and needs to be recognised.”
Meanwhile, Aishwarya’s film Sarbjit hit the screens on May 20 this year, but hasn’t fared well at the box office. The film has earned Rs 16.50 crore in its four days of release. Apart from Aishwarya, Sarbjit also stars Randeep Hooda in the lead role.
