#Jaipur : A shocking case of marital abuse came to light in Rajasthan when a woman filed a police complaint Monday against her husband and in-laws for allegedly tattooing abuses on her body.
NDTV reported that one the tatoos on her forehead read: “My father is a thief.”
The women alleged that her husband and in-laws used to regularly harass her over dowry. She claimed that her husband gave her a drink laced with sedatives and took her to an unknown location to brand her.
The woman’s family allegedly owes Rs 50,000 in dowry.
