New Delhi: A day after concluding his day-long visit to Goa, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Saturday met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 Race Course Road in the national capital today.
The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interests.
WangYi will also hold bilateral consultations with the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj later in the day today.
Wang’s visit to India is part of the regular high-level dialogue between the two countries.
Both the foreign ministers have been meeting regularly on the margins of multilateral meetings.
During their meeting, the two sides discussed various issues of mutual interests including the upcoming multilateral meetings including G-20 Summit being held in China and BRICS Summit being held in India.
Wang had visited Goa on Friday to review logistical and security arrangements in the state which is hosting the upcoming BRICS summit which Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to attend.
