New Delhi: In a hard-hitting message to Pakistan in the wake of the Uri attack, India on Thursday announced it had carried out surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control on Wednesday night, inflicting heavy casualties.
Sources said that the Indian Army was para-dropped and seven terror launch pads were destroyed across LoC. The operation, which lasted from 12:30 am-4:30 am, took place 500 meters-2 km across LoC.
Like most Indians, Virender Sehwag too was delighted with India’s befitting reply to the Pakistan-backed terrorists.
