Indian army’s DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh told reporters that India conducted surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the LOC in Pakistan last night. The first of its kind move by India, which has till now observed the policy of strategic restraint, has received praise from security experts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been praised for giving a “befitting reply” to Pakistan.
