Lucknow: A day after a series of revenge sackings within the Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday reached Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow where he addressed party workers and accused ‘outsider’ Amar Singh for causing rift in the party.
During the speech, CM Akhilesh made it clear that he is with his father and SP patriarch Mulayam Singh but firm on stern action against those including Amar Singh, who is known to be close to Mulayam, for anti-party activities.

I am not a weak person, even to this day. Do not think that the youth is not with me: Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Mulayam Singh’s message to CM Akhilesh Yadav, “I could have become the Prime Minister but I didn’t compromised. I made the party big and am not weak yet. Shivpal has worked at the grassroots and is people’s leader whereas Mukhtar Ansari is from a reputed family.”
Instead of fighting our weaknesses we are fighting amongst ourselves. Some ministers are just busy being sycophants. And people who can’t think big can’t be a minister. Leaders listen to criticism: Mulayam Singh.
