New Delhi: Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to win majority in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, one party leader had planned in advance to give a “gift” to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
On Tuesday, Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal S Bagga ordered two bricks on an e-commerce website and sent it to Kejriwal.
Bagga’s made the order a day after Aam Aadmi Party leader Kejriwal warned of launching a “movement” if the MCD exit poll results, which have predicted a BJP sweep, come true.
Addressing a gathering of poll observers at his residence on Monday, Kejriwal had warned that if the AAP loses on Wednesday as predicted by exit polls on Sunday “…toh hum int se int baja denge”.
Taking a dig at Kejriwal, the Delhi BJP leader ordered two bricks for the Delhi CM and sent to his address.
Meanwhile, the BJP was all set to score a hat-trick in the Delhi civic polls under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.
