Sasikala’s relative threatens to release Jayalalithaa’s hospital clip

Sasikala's relative threatens to release Jayalalithaa's hospital clipChennai: Amid demands for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the death of then Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, a nephew of Sasikala Natarajan has threatened to make public the clips of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister with her aunt in a Chennai hospital.

Sasikala’s nephew Jeyanandh Dhivakaran, in a Facebook post, said the clips will clear the kind of relationship Amma (Jayalalithaa) and Chinnamma (Sasikala) shared.

The post was deleted quickly, reported .

“Even after been coined as a murderer, Amma’s pic was not revealed by Sasikala as her enemies should not see her clad in a green gown,” said the post on Facebook.

It added: “We kept her as a mighty lion until her death and bid adieu. But OPS, just to garner votes, placed her in a coffin and paraded her.”The post added: “Truth is strong and what if the videos of Amma’s and Chinnamma’s conversations surface one day? What should we do to PH Pandian and Manoj K Pandian.”

Jayalalithaa died on December 05 after a prolonged illness, leading to developments that broke up the AIADMK into two factions – one faction is led by Sasikala and the other by O Panneerselvam.

A majority of the legislators had lined behind Sasikala and her nominee E Palaniswami was elected as the Chief Minister.

Although the ruling AIADMK faction has more supporters in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, it is in deep trouble after the Delhi Police filed a case against Sasikala’s nephew and top leader TTV Dinakaran on charges of trying to bribe voters in Chennai.

The ruling AIADMK has decided to sideline Sasikala and Dinakaran and let a panel of leaders run the party.

However, a senior leader in Panneerselvam’s camp, KP Munusamy, has cleared that the rival camp now led by Chief Minister K Palaniswami must secure the resignation of the jailed Sasikala and her nephew Dinakaran from their party posts.

In February, Sasikala before going to jail had inducted Dinakaran into the party and appointed him as the Deputy General Secretary.
