Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has once again triggered a controversy after he claimed that Telangana Police has set up a bogus Islamic State website Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has once again triggered a controversy after he claimed that Telangana Police has set up a bogus Islamic State website to radicalise Muslim youth and encourage them to join terror modules.

Digvijay tweeted: “Telangana Police has set up a bogus ISIS site which is radicalising Muslim Youths and encouraging them to become ISIS Modules.”

“It was on their information that MP Police arrested accused who were responsible for the bomb blast in train in Shajapur District of MP.”

“It also resulted in Saifullaha encounter in Kanpur the same day.”

“The issue is whether Telangana Police should be trapping Muslim Youths in becoming ISIS modules by posting inflammatory information?”

“Is It Ethical? Is it Moral? Has KCR authorised Telangana Police to trap Muslim Youths and encourage them to join ISIS?”

KT Rama Rao, a minister in the state government and son of CM K Chandrashekhar Rao, tweeted: “Most irresponsible & reprehensible thing coming from a former CM. Request you to withdraw these comments unconditionally or provide evidence.”

The TRS is now mulling legal action against the Congress leader.
