Pulwama: A fierce gunbattle is currently underway in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district’s Bamnoo area since Monday morning.
According to reports, two terrorists have been gunned down in the ongoing encounter by the security forces, while one is still holed up inside a house in the area.
One of the two slain terrorists has been identified as Kifayat.
All efforts are on to neutralise the last one holed up inside a house.
The security forces began the operation following a tip off about the presence of a group of terrorists in the area.
The Special Operations Group (SOG) and 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) is involved in the search and combing operation in the area.
Yesterday, the security officials in a joint operation began to cordon off Pulwama’s Malangpora area in search of terrorist.
Army, local police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) began search operation in to nab terrorists trapped in the area.
