Mumbai: Ajay Devgn and team ‘Baadshaho’, who were scheduled to shoot for a promotional episode with ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ ream apparently left the sets of the show without shooting, latest reports suggest.
Devgn reportedly stormed out of the sets after waiting for Kapil who did not turn up.
According to a report in hindustantimes.com, originally attributed to SpotBoyE, Kapil was nowhere to be seen. Ajay and his ‘Baadshaho’ co-stars Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta were supposed to shoot with Kapil on Saturday morning.
“Kapil’s phones were switched off. The team was leaving no stone unturned to get in touch with him, but to no avail. Even Kapil’s team did not give a proper answer,” the report quoted a source as saying.
Not too long ago, BJP leader and Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari had to return to Delhi without shooting for TKSS after the shooting was called off. Then, the shooting was reportedly cancelled due to a strike of film workers.
But this is not the first time Kapil cancelled the shoot. Earlier on more than a couple of occasions, the star comedian had to call off the shoot – once when Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka were scheduled to promote ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and later when the team of ‘Mubarakan’ had turned up to promote their film.
The report also said that the ‘Baadshaho’ team was later informed that Kapil got a panic attack and hence the shoot had to be cancelled.
