16-year-old boy sodomised by classmate in coaching centre

NewDelhi: A 16-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by another student at a private coaching centre in south Delhi on Wednesday evening. The police said they were informed about the incident on Thursday morning when the 16-year-old came to the Hauz Khas police station. A case under Section 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC and sections of POCSO Act was registered.

 

The police said the accused, a 30-year-old PhD student, had joined the coaching centre a few months ago. On Thursday, the teenager had reached the centre before time. That is when the accused allegedly sodomised him. The boy’s statement will be recorded on Friday.
