Bihar: The issue of former Bihar health minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav’s marriage has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. There have also been interesting tweet exchanges between Tej Pratap and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi over the issue.
The latest name to be dragged into the issue is that of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Addressing a rally in Motihari in Bihar, Tej Pratap took a dig at the Janata Dal United leader, who was in an alliance with the RJD before joining hands with the BJP, saying he does not want a “dhokhebaaz dulhaniya like Nitish”.

He made the remark while responding to a question from the public on Sushil Kumar Modi’s offer to find a bride for him.
While offering to find a bride for Tej Pratap, Modi had out three conditions – no dowry, pledging for organ donation and no threats to disrupt any marriage.
The offer from Modi had come after Tej Pratap had said that he would like “uncle” Sushil Modi to find a bride for him.
While he earlier threatened to enter Modi’s house and disrupt his son’s marriage, Tej Pratap later told a local television channel that he considered the BJP leader as his father. He had also said in the same interview that he would want Modi to find a bride for him.
Following his threat, Tej Pratap had, however, made attempts to play it down by saying that he was not a terrorist and Modi could go ahead with son’s wedding without any fear.
“I am not a criminal or a terrorist. Sushil Modi should go ahead with the wedding without worry or fear,” he had said.
A video purportedly showing Tej threatening to disrupt the wedding had also surfaced.
