RJD Unveils New Campaign Anthem Ahead Of Bihar Polls

With the Bihar Assembly elections drawing closer, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has released a new campaign anthem to connect with voters. The song, titled “Kaam Ke Neta Ba Bhaiya, Kaam Ke Neta”, highlights Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership and promises of development.

The RJD’s new video song prominently features everyday citizens. It opens with a text proclaiming Tejashwi Yadav as the face of Bihar’s progress. The song’s lyrics directly address the poor, suggesting that the RJD will serve them and implement beneficial schemes. The party’s new anthem includes lines like “true to their word,” implying that, unlike other parties, the RJD remains steadfast in its promises and statements. Tejashwi Yadav is depicted as “the son of the people,” symbolizing Bihar’s own in the video.

On September 16, Tejashwi Yadav also launched a song dedicated to the youth. The song was titled “I-I-I RJD… I.” Through this track, the party sought to gain the support of young voters. On September 19, the party released another song called “Bihar Yatra.”

On Saturday, Bihar’s Leader of Opposition and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that seat-sharing discussions within the Mahagathbandhan are close to being finalised and an announcement will follow shortly.

“It will be very soon. We have no confusion here. Everything will be almost finalised. The announcement will be made soon,” he said on seat sharing.

A day earlier, while sharing visuals from his rallies ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the RJD leader remarked that his politics focuses on “development, improvement, prosperity, and industries”.

“I have come to do new politics. Where there is no talk of caste and religion, but rather of development, improvement, prosperity, and industries in every sector. There is a discussion on increasing per capita income and per capita investment in Bihar. Where positivity, creativity, progressiveness, and qualitative change form the basis of politics,” Yadav said.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who has launched a state-wide campaign ahead of the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections,  Yadav posted videos from his rallies, including one in Khagaria district. He said the current political contest in Bihar represents the fight for the future of farmers and youth.

“This is a fight of the farmer’s sweat, the labourer’s hard work, and the unemployed youth’s future… and this is a do-or-die battle, and I will not rest until I lead Bihar to victory,” he wrote.

The Mahagathbandhan, headed by Congress and RJD, is preparing to take on the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), consisting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)], in the state elections set to be held later this year.
