Shining India Survey Assam opinion Poll predicts no clear majority to any single partyNew Delhi: Shining India Survey and Shining India News Assam Assembly Election Opinion Poll 2021:
Assam is going to be witness of tough battle this assembly election. None of the national party are not
getting clear majority to form government alone in Assam.
Research and analysis of Shining India Survey Group assess that BJP is leading in seat share but still a
seat or two to find majority to form government. Survey shows that BJP is leading over 62 seats while
Congress is on 59 seats. There are 126 seats in Assam assembly. Other are getting 5 seats but there is
close battle in 26 seats.
The voting had already been announced in Assam and that will took place in 3 phases from 27 March to
April 6, 2021.
According to the public opinion that had been gathered by Shining India Research and Analysis, BJP is
expected to get 41.6% vote share while Congress is expected to get 40.8% while other including
independent will get 11.4%.
Party wise vote share projection

BJP: 41.6% +-3%
INC: 40.8% +-3%
OTH: 11.4% +-1%

ND: 6.2% [Not decided and silent voter's]

Party Alliance wise Seat share projection:

BJP+: 62 + -5
INC+: 59 + -7
OTH : 5 + -2

#Close fight over 26 seats: Public opinion also stated that there is very tough battle on 26 assembly
constituencies.

Shining India Research & Analysis along with Shining India News had conducted a wide range survey and
opinion Poll to know the mood of the voter's ahead of the decisive assembly election 2021 in Assam.
The survey and opinion poll was conducted from 16 February 2021 to 15 March 2021 with the sample
size of 49613 voters of all age group, caste, gender and community.

There is a very close fight between the BJP alliance and the Congress alliance in Assam. Where, both parties equal chances come to power, because there is a very close contest.
 
This time Issues like NRC and CAA are also very high in Assam elections .  Rising inflation, problem of increasing unemployment , and petrol diesel price. Tea workers,  Flood problems are all such problems that are affecting people. and also these issues will effect to Assam elections.
