New Delhi: Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi had met the senior leader of BJP Lal Krishna Advani in Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting was came due to the reaction of Advani which he expressed in past in against elevation of Modi in party. Narendra Modi also called Murli Manohar Joshi in meeting.
After meeting, Joshi told reporters that Modi came to express his gratitude after being anointed as chairman of the BJP campaign committee. Joshi said that Modi told him that he is including everyone in the process and will uphold this responsibility well.
Modi also meet BJP president Rajnath Singh and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Meanwhile, Bhagwat will also meet Advani in Delhi today. This is the first interaction between Modi and Advani since the letter had resigned from three key forums of BJP in the wake of the former’s elevation to head the party’s campaign committee for coming Lok Sabha Elections. Advani, however, later withdrew his resignation following a telephonic talk with Bhagwat and persuasion by BJP leaders.
