Bangalore: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had indirectly attacks on JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Friday and called upon aspirants of gazetted probationers’ posts to shun people who try to give humanitarian face to cover up corrupt practices of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).
Siddaramaiah had termed it ‘vested interests’ and said some leaders are trying to stoke emotional feelings, which is against public interest.
While speaking at the 68th Independence Day celebrations, Siddaramaiah said, “We have taken strict measures to protect the sanctity of recruitments and taken some hard decisions in this regard.”
He also defended his government’s decision to annul the 2011 batch of gazetted probationers’ Group A & B examination and said the government wants to ensure honesty and transparency in administration and that the administrative machinery has been sensitized to achieve this goal.
