Woman gang-raped and dumped in Nehru Place area of DelhiNew Delhi: A 24-year-old woman had been allegedly gang-raped and dumped in Nehru Place area of New Delhi at Tuesday night. The woman is the daughter of deceased policemen. A case had been registered in Kalkaji police station. The woman claimed that she had been drugged and gang-raped by three-men in a moving car.

Police had nabbed two accused who are known to the woman. The crime had been noticed when an auto rickshaw driver found the victim near Nehru Place flyover in an intoxicated condition. The auto rickshaw driver had informed the Police Control Room as he suspected that victim might be sexually assaulted as her clothes were torn.

Victim had been taken to AIIMS for medical where doctors confirm rape. Victim had narrated the whole story to police.

A case of drugging and rape had been registered on behalf of her statement at Kalkaji Police Station. The woman in her statement told police that she lives in east Delhi with her live-in partner.

Victim claimed that she had accompanied the two accused in their car for some work on Tuesday evening. They offered her cold drink, apparently laced with sedatives. When she started feeling drowsy, the two men took turns to rape her. They dropped her in Nehru Place from where she began walking until she was noticed by the auto rickshaw driver.
