Hyderabad: In the true spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, a grand Dawat-e-Iftar was hosted by Nampally MLA Majid Hussain on Friday evening in the Nampally Assembly constituency.
According to local residents, more than 35,000 people gathered at the event, creating a remarkable atmosphere of unity, generosity, and community harmony in the city.
The Dawat-e-Iftar was organized at the historic Old Eidgah Ground in First Lancer, where thousands of fasting devotees came together to break their fast and share the spiritual blessings of the sacred month of Ramadan.
The prestigious gathering was also graced by the presence of Mr Asaduddin Owaisi, Member of Parliament and President of AIMIM, whose participation added warmth and inspiration to the evening. Renowned Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj was also present at the event, making the occasion even more special for attendees.
The large turnout beautifully reflected Hyderabad’s tradition of brotherhood, generosity, and cultural harmony. The Dawat-e-Iftar served not only as an opportunity to break the fast together but also as a powerful message of unity, compassion, and social harmony among people from different walks of life.
