Amreli MLA and Gujarat Minister of State recognised for public service, development initiatives and leadership
Gandhinagar: Hon’ble Shri Kaushik Kantibhai Vekariya, MLA from the Amreli Assembly Constituency and Minister of State in the Government of Gujarat, has been honoured with the prestigious Shining India Best MLA Award – 2026 for his public service, development initiatives, leadership and commitment towards public welfare.
The award was presented to Shri Kaushik Vekariya Ji as part of the 18th Shining India Best MLA Awards – Gujarat 2026, recognising the contribution of elected representatives towards public service and constituency development.
The recognition followed an extensive four-month ground survey covering all Assembly Constituencies of Gujarat, undertaken by Shining India to assess the performance, public contribution and development-oriented work of elected representatives across the state.
Shri Kaushik Vekariya, who represents Amreli in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, has also been serving as a Minister of State in the Gujarat Government since October 2025. He currently holds portfolios including Law and Justice, Energy and Petrochemicals, and Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs.
The Shining India Best MLA Award – 2026 acknowledges Shri Kaushik Vekariya Ji’s contribution towards public service, development and welfare-oriented initiatives in the Gujarat state and Amreli constituency.
