Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav had regretted to post IAS Durga Shakti Nagpal in Noida as Sub Divisional Magistrate.
Akhilesh Yadav said in an interview on Wednesday that she was posted to Greater Noida on the request of her husband who is also an IAS officer. Durga Shakti Nagpal’s husband is posted in Ghaziabad. Akhilesh Yadav defended his action said that he has never interfered in the working of the official.
CM quoted by saying, “I have no knowledge what she did against the mining activities in the area.” Akhilesh Yadav denied any link between suspension of Durga Shakti Nagpal and the mining activities.
UP chief minister told that one would have to understand the complexities of the state as large as Uttar Pradesh to write and speak about any action, repeating the previous statement of the government that the SDM of Noida was suspended following her orders to demolish boundary wall of an under construction mosque in Kadalpur village of Greater Noida.
Yadav also said that there have been communal flare ups in the state and under such circumstances; the government cannot be expected to sit back.
