New Delhi: In a shocking and shameful incident, a director and a guard of a mentally-challenged centre have been accused of sexually abusing five girls in Jammu and Kashmir and Police have detained the director SC Sharma and guard Angat Kumar of the Rotary Inner Wheel Home for Mentally Retarded Children located in Channi Rama.
Jammu Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Sahu had sought a report on the shameful incident, which states that the girls were sexually abused and physically tortured. The police have filed a complaint against both the accused in Trikuta Nagar police station. The centre houses 17 girls who are aged between 14-16 years. It is being said that a social activist had reported the matter to Ajit Sahu, who further constituted a team to probe the matter.
