#Bengaluru : Thousands of dead fish have surfaced at a lake in the middle of Bengaluru, a city that has been struggling to clean up its badly polluted lakes.
The sight of fish heaped around the Ulsoor lake shocked residents this morning. The reason for the deaths is not known.

Last year, thick froth was seen on a lake in Bengaluru and flames were seen in the Yamlur lake, one of the city’s most polluted.
The Ulsoor Lake had for many years been choked with water hyacinth and there was a major effort to clear that.
The lake is a popular boating site.
