Navjot Singh Sidhu wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu and ex hockey player Pargat Singh set to join Congress on November 28th,

 

#NewDelhi: Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of legend cricketer-turned-politician and TV star  Navjot Singh Sidhu, will join the Congress on November 28th 2016, Punjab Congress unit chief and former CM Captain Amarinder Singh said on Wednesday. “I am pleased to announce that Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu and Pargat Singh will formally be joining the Congress on November 28,” Amarinder Singh tweeted. Navjot Kaur Sidhu had on October 8 resigned from the BJP. Pargat Singh is a former hockey player and was formerly associated with the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Punjab. He represents Jalandhar Cantt constituency in the state assembly. The announcement came amid speculation that Navjot Singh Sidhu will also join the party in the coming days. Navjot Singh Sidhu and former hockey player Pargat Singh had earlier formed a new political front ‘Awaz-e-Punjab’ which is said to have split now.
