BJP will come in majority in Chhattisgarh: Shining India Pre-poll survey

New Delhi/ Ishant Singh: Chhattisgarh had going to become the witness of the again a victory of Bharatiya Janata Party. The pre-poll survey of Shining India News and Ek Mulakat Survey had stated that voters of Chhattisgarh are all set to vote again and make the government of Dr. Raman Singh. The teams of Shining India News and Ek Mulakat Survey had met with 13,900 voters of Chhattisgarh from 20th of August of 2013 to 28th of October 2013 in whole state. The survey reveals that Dr. Raman Singh has gained strength in the past five years and the electorate of Chhattisgarh state had giving a positive approach to Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh and BJP.

According to the survey of Shining India News and Ek Mulakat, BJP is likely to secure 45 seats while INC may win 41. The other smaller parties and independent will get 4.

Survey also stated that while INC is also likely to increase its seats share from 38 in 2008 to 41 and gap of 4 seats means that the BJP is not much far ahead of its rival and Chhattisgarh had again become the bastion of BJP.

It is also noted that the seats of BJP had become little less; pro-incumbency is nearly as high as it was in 2008, giving BJP and Dr. Raman Singh a bit advantage.

Good governance and development, better roads, and improved power supply are the top three reasons for the vote in favor of Dr. Raman Singh.

SURVEY PROCESS FOR CHHATTISGARH

This pre-poll survey had been independently conducted by Shining India news and Ek Mulakat Survey. This survey was conducted from 10th of August 2013 to 18th of October 2013. A total of 13,900 persons had been randomly selected from the latest electoral rolls. These persons were interviewed from all over the state. The respondents were selected by using the Systematic Random Sampling method from the most updated electo

ral rolls. Keeping in mind, the probability of non completion of interviews amongst all the selected respondents we adopted the technique of over sampling of respondents. The interviews were conducted by specially trained survey and analysis team. The respondents were interviewed in the face-to-face interview situation using a structured interview schedule in Hindi.
