UP: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh faces its biggest electoral test on Friday since coming to power earlier this year.
After the marathon three-phase polling that saw 652 local bodies go to the poll, the Election Commission will declare the result of Uttar Pradesh’s civic body election today.
The third and the final phase of the Uttar Pradesh urban local body polls in 26 districts of the state witnessed a voter turnout of 53%. The previous two phases of polling on November 22 and 26 had recorded a turnout of 52.59% and 49.3% respectively.
