Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has publicly admonished UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and criticized his governent for “sitting on files. Yadav asked the state CM to step up and work for UP and to stay away from sycophancy.
He also said that Chaploos (stooges) are running the government and they are never good for a chief minister’s image. Mulayam Singh went on, not sparing even Azam Khan and asked him to start working rather than sitting bacI have not reviewed the performance of ministers in the state government but I know what they are doing. Ministers and officers, you all should mend your ways within 10 days.
The party is bigger than the government.
Yadav said that officers should take prompt decision on files instead of holding them and government should provide facilities like roads, electricity and water to the people. This is not a difficult task,” he emphasized.
