Parliament Winter Session live updates: Country moving from 'Make in India' to 'Rape in India', says Congress in Lok SabhaNew Delhi : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday reiterated in Lok Sabha in the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament that the situation in Kashmir valley is completely “normal” and hit out at Congress saying that the party is more concerned about the “political activity” in the region than the people there. The Home Minister assured that the lower house that political leaders, who are currently in jail, will be released only by the local administration and the government will not interfere in their decision.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in his written reply to Lok Sabha said that regular attempts for infiltration by terrorists through the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir are sponsored and supported from across the border. Since August, 2019, 84 such attempts have been made from across the border and it is estimated that 59 such terrorist could have infiltrated into valley.
