Karnataka Assembly Elections 2013: Rahul Gandhi unnoticed own party men?

Bangalore, 16th April: Congress candidates announced for the ensuing Assembly Elections on May 5, But Rahul Gandhi not getting importance in Karnataka Assembly Election?

As reported by a daily from South India, the Congressmen there have not heeded to any guidelines laid down by the party vice president. The same has been done to give tickets to state Congress leaders.

The daily reported that Rahul had asked for a minimum of 20 tickets for candidates who were less than 40 years’ of age, while the rest of the candidates should be having an average age of 55 years.

The ignorance of Rahul’s advice could be gauged from the fact that old candidates like Shamanur Shivashankarappa (82) and Kagodu Thimmappa (84) have been given tickets.

Congress sources say Rahul’s other guidelines like not giving tickets to candidates facing criminal cases, being kin of party seniors, etc have also been ignored.
