New Delhi, May,15: As the term of Member of Rajya Sabha of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s expire in June, Dr. Singh has filed his nomination paper from Guwahati on Wednesday.
The PM, accompanied by Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh, will also attend the Congress Legislative Party meeting at Dispur.
In Assam, election was hold on two Rajya Sabha seats through a notification which was issued on Tuesday. May 20 is the last date to file nominations and the scrutiny of nominations will be held the next day, sources said.
