Education of Govt school is Excellent- Sheila Dixit

New Delhi, May 28: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Monday said the education imparted by Delhi Government is both qualitative and excellent as the passing percentage of student of Delhi Government school in class XII CBSE Examinaton had been increased by one pre cent in comparison of last year. This percentage has been increases forom 87.72 to 88.65. On this occasion, Sheila Dixit also congratulated all the students. their parents, faculties of Govt. school and the Education Department over the result of this year. The number of government schools that recorded 100 per cent result also increases their counting and take the graph  from 78 to 109. More than 500 schools achieved 90 per cent and above as against the last year record of 352 schools. The number of students who appeared for the exam and passed were 17,658 and 16,781 respectively. While Noting that girls have once again outshone boys in the Delhi region, Ms. Dikshit said that the pass percentage of girls in Delhi region is 91.42 per cent as against that of boys at 82.44 per cent. This graph of increase in girls ratio in education field shows that weather the condition of society or nation against girls as the crimes are increasing day by day, but their dedication toward education is very loyal and deep from their heart due to which girls have once again outshone boys in Delhi.

Sheila Dixit also said that the result of the Delhi Government schools is better than the Government schools in all other cities. In the Delhi Government schools the pass percentage was 88.65 per cent, whereas Panchkula was second with 85.32 per cent and Chennai third with 64.68 per cent.

In addition, the pass percentage of Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas in Delhi was 99.05 per cent which was better than the Kendriya Vidyalayas of the Capital at 97.56 per cent. Similarly the pass percentage of RPVVs of Delhi was 8 percentage points better than the 91.88 per cent achieved by public schools in Delhi. Four RPVVs of Delhi in Dwarka, Rohini, Gandhi Nagar and Suraj Mal Vihar find place among the 100 best schools in the NCR
