New Delhi: Government had announced a core package of 195 crore for the reconstruction of the ‘Char Dham’ pilgrimage circuit. This circuit was badly affected by the rain disaster of Uttarakhand. Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi had announced that this fund will be spent for the reconstruction and renovation of the sacred pilgrimage sites of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. Surrounding area and roads which connects these ‘Char Dham’ will also constructed from this fund. He also said that the government of Uttarakhand can utilize this fund according with their requirements.
