Nitish Kumar save his government through confidence vote in Bihar

Patna: Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar had won the confidence vote in state assembly. He has got the support of 126 MLAs. 24 MLAs opposed the trust motion. Nitish Kumar had comment on BJP and blame that BJP is responsible for breaking the alliance in this meeting. Kumar also attacked on Narendra Modi indirectly. Nitish said there was no wave in the country in favour of any leader and the BJP would repent its decision in the future. The Bihar chief minister once again slammed the BJP for side lining Advani. Earlier, the BJP walked out of the assembly, accusing chief minister Nitish Kumar of betraying the mandate of NDA. “We know you have mustered majority in the House to ensure passage of trust vote. Therefore we are walking out,” BJP legislature party leader Nand Kishore Yadav announced in the House.

MLAs of BJP promptly walked out of the legislative assembly while the debate on the trust vote moved by the Nitish Kumar government was going on. The party had earlier said it would oppose the confidence motion and had also issued a whip to its 91 MLAs to vote against the JD-U government.

Yadav comment on Nitish Kumar by saying, “The next general elections and the subsequent assembly polls are not too far away in which the people of Bihar will teach a lesson to you.”
