Rahul Gandhi made visit to Uttarakhand

Delhi: Finally after so many critics, Rahul Gandhi had came India and visited Uttarakhand on Monday. Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi quietly visited flood-revaged Uttarakhand, keeping even the office of Chief Minister out of loop. Rahul Gandhi had been reached Uttarakhand by a chartered flight which left for Rishikesh at around 1 PM and then he visited Pauri Garhwal which is 150 km away from Dehradun.

DM of Pauri Garhwal Chandres Yadav said that Rahul Gandhi had spent some time at the circuit house and then visited to Rudraprayag. Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by his staff.

It is also note that Congress President Sonia Gandhi with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had made an aerial tour to Uttarakhand last week.

UPA chief had flagged off 24 truckloads of relief material for the Uttarakhand flood victims in the presence of Rahul Gandhi before he left for Uttarakhand, and Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit.

The party has directed all its state units to collect material for the state. Earlier, 125 trucks were sent to Dehradun by the Congress, which is in power in Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile Chief Minister of Uttarakhand didn’t permitted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to visit the area due to the discomfort in rescue operation and security risk factor of this VIP, so here a question arises that did Rahul Gandhi not a VIP or the condition of this state favorable for Congress vice-president.

While giving clarification on this question, Congress leader Ranuka Chaudhary on Monday said that Rahul Gandhi had visited their personally to understand the condition. She also comment by saying that what you want? Should Rahul Gandhi have to tell everything what he is doing and he didn’t have nature to make publicity of each of his action.
