AAP member Santosh Koli injured in accident in Ghaziabad

New Delhi: Santosh Koli, a member of Aam Aadmi Party was critically injured on Sunday in a road accident near Pacific Mall in Kaushambi. Santosh Koli is a candidate of upcoming election of Delhi from AAP. Some party members have claimed that Koli had received a phone call threatening her not to fight election few days before. Santosh Koli met with this accident when she was going with another Aam Aadmi Party activist Kuldeep to the office of AAP in Kaushambi.

AAP Activist Rajan Prakash defined whole accident and said, “When they were going to the Kaushambi office on a motorcycle, a car rammed them from the back and fled. Santosh has sustained severe brain injuries while Kuldeep has minor injuries. The impact of the collision was such that the motorcycle caught fire and gutted within minutes of the accident. Santosh was rushed to nearby Yashoda Hospital.”

Ghaziabad superintendent Shiv Shankar Yadav said, “We are investigating the case. The incident took place around 5.15 pm on Sunday. We are trying to trace the car and have appealed to the public that if they have any information about the car’s identity, they should approach us.” Police have registered a case at Link Road police station.
