Congress leader Manish Tewari also on Monday attacked the Gujarat CM and said, “This is the right time for Indians to stand up and reaffirm their commitment to basic ideas of secularism.”
He also added, “The wheels of communalism are extremely sectarian, and need to be crushed.”
“We need to go back to Congress’ basic vision of India which is pluralistic and inclusive. The cloak of secularism is all pervasive. It envelops Hindus, Muslims, Jains, Sikhs, people of all faiths,” he added.

As it is known, Modi on Sunday charged Congress with wearing the “burqa (veil) of secularism” and “hiding in a bunker” each time it is confronted with a crisis.
