England wins toss in second Ashes test match, elected to bat first

AshesNew Delhi: England won the toss in second Ashes test match starts from Thursday and chooses to bat first against Australia on a hot day at Lord’s. Both teams have make changes to their line-ups from the thrilling first match.

England made one change with fast bowler Steven Finn who has been replaced by all-rounder Tim Bresnan, who is expected to offer the England attack more control with an economy rate of 2.96 against Finn’s 3.65. Bresnan will also add depth to England’s batting.

Meanwhile Australia had dropped its left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc in favour of right-arm swing bowler Ryan Harris, and Usman Khawaja took the No. 3 position from Ed Cowan who made a first-ball duck and 14 as Australia lost by 14 runs in his first test match at Trent Bridge on Sunday.
