Bhopal: Bhopal police had arrested Former Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Raghavji from a flat in Bhopal on Tuesday. Raghavji was accused for buggery with his servant Rajkumar Dangi. Raghavji was untraceable from last two days. He had recently quit from his post after being accused of buggery.
The BJP had expelled Raghavji from the party in the wake of buggery allegations against him on Sunday. BJP’s Madhya Pradesh unit chief Narendra Singh Tomar had said, “After watching developments in Raghavji’s case, the BJP has decided to expel him from its primary membership.”
Raghavji had applied for anticipatory bail which was due to come up before a court here today. However, in view of his arrest the anticipatory bail plea now holds no significance.
Rajkumar Dangi had submitted his complaint against Raghavji at the Habibganj police station on Friday and claimed that a sex CD had also been made. Police had registered FIR on the basis of complaint and police is investigating over this matter.
