New Delhi: Kasauti Zindagi ki serial fame TV actress Shwerta Tiwari tied a knot with her boyfriend Abhinav Kohli on July 13. Shweta Tiwari is also known as a winner of Reality show Big Boss season 4. The actress had recently announced her marriage with actor Abhinav on the sets of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
The actress who shot to fame with the TV serial ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ has married a second time. She has a daughter from her first marriage. Shweta is now all set to start her life afresh with her second marriage. Shweta had earlier married with Bhojpuri actor and director Raja Chaudhary at the age of 18 in 1998. Her daughter Palak seems to be very happy with this marriage. The mehandi ceremony was organized at the bride’s house on July 11 followed by sangeet the next day. The marriage took place on July 13 and the reception is to be held on July 17 at Abhinav’s house in Bangalore.
Shweta had to seek divorce in October 2012, accusing Raja of domestic violence and verbal abuse. What is worse, Raja continued vexing her with abusive behaviour even after the divorce. Shweta was then compelled to lodge a police complaint against him. There are many criminal cases pending against Raja because of which he even had to be externed. Several television personalities including Rupali Ganguly, Manoj Tiwari, Uttaran actor Sparsh Khanchandani, Rajeshwari Sachdev and many more cheered the former Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestant as she entered the nuptials.
